ANTWERPEN 2010:

We would like to Congratulate many of our TeAm couples on their great success at Antwerpen over the weekend.
In the Amateur Ballroom Dennis & Samantha tied with Marcello & Tessa for the highest placed Dutch couple (40th place) and Paul & Cynthia came in as third placed Dutch couple.
The Senior 1 event saw Ronny & Anne just miss out on a semi final place. Ed & Trudy made the Senior 2 semi final and Dick and Edith just missed out on a final place ending 8th in the Senior 3 Competition. All these couples were the highest placed Dutch Senior couples in each of their events- a great success.

A big Congratulations should also go to Sebastian & Ciara from Ireland for their Amateur Semi Final place.
We are very proud of you all-see you very soon!




LECTURES/TRY OUT DAY:

We would like to thank everyone that attending both our Open Lecture and the Try Out Day.
There were amazing numbers with over 50 couples at the Open Lecture and over 40 dancers at the Try Out Event, making it a hugely successful day. Dancers from all over the World attended including those from Australia, Denmark, Belgium, USA, Germany and of course Holland! We hope you enjoyed the day and we wish all of those dancers looking for partners all the very best of luck.

FREEDOM TO DANCE:

With recent developments within the dancing World many famous dancers have come together to support 'Freedom to Dance'. An initiative started by the dance icon Mr Richard Gleave has been posted on Facebook where you can find his statement along with many others of World Famous dancers.

UK CHAMPIONSHIPS:

Congratulations to everyone that danced at the recent UK Championships in Bournemouth. What a fabulous week it was! Some of the best Finals & Semi Finals that we have seen in many years! Anyone that wasn't there certainly missed an amazing week of dance. Especially during this time, with so many things happening in the dance world it was fabulous to see such great entries.
Special Congratulations must go to:
Kristian & Anri for their Professional Rising Star Final place, Alex & Irina for their Professional 24 placing and Hansen & Carolina for getting into the Amateur Ballroom final!And naturally to all the Dutch couples who took part.

CONGRATULATIONS:

A big congratulations to Marcel & Leanne who have just become parents for the very first time. Hidde was born on 9th December at 8:49am and he weighed 2760gr. We know Marcel and Leanne are going to be fabulous parents and we look forward to meeting Hidde soon.

DUTCH OPEN/ASSEN:

Congratulations to professional TeAm couples Isao & Shirley, who won the NK Professional Ballroom Championship and to Ramon and Astrid who came third. Well done to you both.

TEAM PREP WEEKEND IN ALMERE TOPSPORT HALL!!;

What a great weekend we had preparing the TeAm couples for the NK last weekend. We hired the Topsporthall in Almere so everyone could be as prepared as possible. What a great opportunity for the couples to get in their NK hall a week before the event! Everyone worked hard and we had two really productive days. More pictures coming soon!

INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS:
What an amazing week in London it has been. This week in October is really a 'must be there' for all dance enthusiasts and serious professionals. It begins with the UK 10 Dance and Imperial Championships held in Frimley which had record entries this year. (Unfortunately this year the Holland Masters clashed with this weekend which we understand will not happen again next year, which will therefore allow couples to once again attend both great events)
Then the Night Of 100 Stars where all the top 10 Professionals in Ballroom and Latin give a one dance show. A fabulous night that cannot be matched anywhere in the World. Then of course the International Championships, held over three days, with the third day at the amazing Royal Albert Hall. A venue like no other. 
Two Dutch couples made the Senior Semi-Finals, a great acheivement for Rene & Ymke and Eric & Charlotte. Congratulations must also go to Sergey & Tatiana for their Rising Star semi final, Hansen and Carolina for their Amateur Semi final place and to Alex & Irina who made their first Professional Semi Final. Well done for some fabulous performances!
A wonderful week of dancing!

7th PLACE AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR ALEX & IRINA!:

A big CONGRATULATIONS to Alexander and Irina who after more than a week of stress over Visas and who at one point thought they wouldn't be allowed to go to Japan today came 7th at the Professional World Ballroom Championships! This is a big result and we are very proud. Well done! You worked very hard this week and you totally deserve this result.










RENE & YMKE IN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL!:

Congratulations to Rene & Ymke who made the Semi Final of the World Senior Ballroom Championships held in Canada.
We are sure you gave it your best and must have challenged hard for a final placing. Keep working hard and next year even better! Well done!




TEAM DOKMAN IN LONDON!:

Well done to all TeAm Members that travelled to London this weekend for what proved to be a fantastic four days. We loved having you all over and Marcus & Karen also enjoyed having you in the studio. Use the inspiration in your practise and we will see you all in a few weeks!










TRAINING WEEKEND 2010 & NK PREP:Entries for our 2010 yearly Summer Training Weekend are now open. It will be held from 6th-8th August. Entries are taken on a priority basis and are already going extremely fast!
We are honoured to announce that the world famous Mr Richard Gleave will lecture for us during this weekend!






SUCCESSFUL 2009 TRAINING WEEKEND!:

We would like to say a very big thank you to everyone that attended this years Training weekend. It was amazing to have so many couples and what a fantastic atmosphere you all made!
We are happy and tired but we hope you have all taken away lots of information and inspiration!
