TRAINING WEEKEND 2010:

A big thank you to all the couples that supported us here in Holland by attending our 2010 Training Weekend. We were very pleased to have had couples from all over the world attend. Russia, Poland, Lithuania, America, Ireland and England are just a few of the Nationalities that attended. It is lovely to see the weekend grow from strength to strength and we would also like to give a special thanks to Ashley Frohlick (a World First!) and Richard Gleave for visiting Holland and lecturing for us. 

A special thank you to all the TeAm couples for their hard work and effort in making the weekend such a success. We couldn't do it without you.

Thanks also to everyone that has posted such lovely comments on our Guestbook. It is really nice to hear how much you all enjoyed the weekend and gives us new energy to organise the next event!

Pre Blackpool Training Weekend-England:

We will be holding a two day Training Weekend with Jonathan Crossley and Lynn Marriner in Letchworth on 14th & 15th May 2011 with lots of lectures, workshops and both guided and stamina practises.  
It will cost only £160 per couple for the two days, there are various accommodation possibilities available close by.
The venue is only 20 minutes from Luton airport and 25 minutes by Train from Londons Kings Cross.
The ballroom is called 'Spirella' and has a beautiful Maple Sprung Floor of 384sq meters!

19th JUNE-LECTURE DAY!:

On 19th June we lectured and in addition we also invited Martina Wessel-Therhorn to lecture. It was a hugely successful day with over 80 couples attending!

BLACKPOOL 2010:

Blackpool dance festival has begun and its just as wonderful as always.
The dancing-the music-the whole atmosphere is just the best there is.

Entries are only slightly down (11.38% -not much at all) and the ballroom is as busy as ever! In fact the atmosphere is better than we can ever remember it with a real feeling of everybody attending really enjoying themselves and being here because they really want to and everyone is just loving the festival!
We look forward to the rest of the week with outstanding dancing from the Worlds very best!

'Well here are the numbers!  Total printed entries this year are down 11.38% from 2009.  Certainly not the catastrophe that many were predicting.  Entries in all divisions except 1 were down but only the Rising Star Amateur Latin showed a really significant drop of 82 couples.  The total drop in entries over the whole week was 367 couples.  The only division to show an increase was the Professional Latin +5.'
